Itinerary

DAY 1: Leh Arrival

Pick up from Leh Airport and transfer to hotel. Complete rest for acclimatization is must for rest of the day to avoid high altitude sickness. You will feel the elevation as it's a big jump from sea-level to 3500 meters, and it will take your body a few days to adjust to this altitude. It's very important to drink plenty of water, and to not over-exert yourself while wandering around Leh. Even walking up the stairs of the hotel will make you breathless for the first day or two. Overnight stay at Leh.

DAY 2: Leh Monasteries Tour

After breakfast, full day excursion to various Monasteries / Gompas in and around Leh. Visit Thiksey Monastery (19 Kms) and from there drive to Shey Monastry. After that, drive further to visit Hemis Monastery (40 Kms from Leh). Hemis Monastery is one of the famous Monasteries and is the wealthiest, best known and biggest Gompa of Ladakh. Back to Leh in the evening. En route, visit Stok Palace and Museum. Overnight stay at Leh

DAY 3: Leh - Khandrungla Top - Nubra Valley (5- 6 Hrs)

Today after an early breakfast you would be driven to Nubra Valley. Enroute visit Khardung-la-pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380ft. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive at Hunder & check in at Hotel/Camps. Later visit Diskit Village & enjoy the Camel ride on sand dunes. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel/Camp.

DAY 4: Nubra Valley - Leh

Today after breakfast, drive to Leh after following the same route via Khardung-la. Check in at Hotel upon arrival. At evening explore Leh market for Shopping. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 5: Leh - Pangong Lake

Trek up to the Hundar Valley, to the foot of the Lasermo La. We set up camp at around 4800 metres / 15,750 feet.Today after breakfast, check out from the Hotel & drive to Pangong Lake, east to the Leh after crossing Chang-la (Pass) (17500ft) and driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh and perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its color 4 - 5 times a day. At evening enjoy the breathtaking view of Pangong Lake. Overnight at the Camp at Pangong Lake.

DAY 6: Pangong Lake - Leh (5- 6 Hrs)

Today after breakfast, check out from the Camp & drive back to Leh visit Thiksay, Shey, Stok, Hemis monasteries. Evening free for leisure & own activities. Overnight at the Hotel.

DAY 7: Leh Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel & drop at Airport for return journey with sweet memories of Ladakh Tour.
